Our Team

Abrayan Makonde
CEO

Abrayan is a professional designer and creative technologist with extensive experience at Medtronic LABS, where he leads visual storytelling, motion graphics, and brand communication for global health programmes. He applies the same rigour to Mzedu Farms building a distinctive agribusiness brand, designing investor communications, and managing our digital marketing ecosystem. His upbringing in Vipingo, where leased farms transformed his family’s livelihood, is the direct inspiration behind this venture.

Margaret Mwazighe
FARM MANAGER

Margaret oversees Mzedu Farms’ operational planning, phased infrastructure rollout, and community coordination. She manages timelines, vendor relationships, and compliance with county agricultural regulations. Her project management discipline ensures capital is deployed on schedule and community commitments are met.

Larry Mdawida
financial Advisor

Larry provides financial oversight and investment strategy for Mzedu Farms. He structures our capital deployment plan, manages cash flow projections, and ensures fiduciary accountability to investors and funding partners. His expertise in agricultural finance in the Kenyan context is critical to our phased scaling approach.

Lyncie Otinga
Resource mobilizer

Lyncie leads stakeholder engagement, grant prospecting, and partnership development for Mzedu Farms. She connects the enterprise to funding bodies, NGO partners, county government programmes, and agri-finance institutions. Her networks across the Kenyan development sector directly expand our access to non-dilutive capital.
